Jets first-round corner with 41 career interceptions

Aaron Glenn was born on July 16, 1972, in Humble, Texas. He played at Navarro College before transferring to Texas A&M, where he was a consensus first-team All-American in 1993. The New York Jets drafted him 12th overall in 1994, and he started 15 games as a rookie. Madden NFL 95 put him at a calculated 98 for that 1994 season.

Glenn spent eight seasons with the Jets and made the Pro Bowl after the 1997 and 1998 seasons. Against Miami in 1996 he returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown, a franchise record. Madden NFL 97 rated him 39 for that season. Houston selected him in the 2002 expansion draft, and he had five interceptions and a third Pro Bowl selection in the Texans' first year. Madden NFL 03 rated him 82 for 2002.

Madden NFL 05 rated him 94 for 2004, when he started all 16 games and again intercepted five passes. Glenn signed with Dallas in 2005, joined Jacksonville in 2007 and finished with New Orleans in 2008, ending with 41 interceptions across 15 seasons. He later coached defensive backs in Cleveland and New Orleans and was Detroit's defensive coordinator from 2021 to 2024. The Jets hired him as head coach on January 22, 2025.
