OFFENSIVE LINE RANKINGS 2023 NFL DRAFT
The 2023 NFL Draft offensive tackle class looks somewhat underwhelming, especially when compared to the bumper crop we've seen over the last couple of years.
The group is led by Northwestern’s Peter Skoronski and Paris Johnson from Ohio State.
Five-star recruit Johnson is the more athletic of the two possessing massive upside - he’s also got all the measurables you could ever wish for at the position. He however is far from the finished product and will likely need time to develop. Skoronski is the opposite, he is the perfect technician who does everything well – and quite likely would be ready to start in the pros - even now. His measurables limit his upside though as they are only average for an outside offensive line player – he stands at 6-4 and weighs in at 315 pounds. He has proved himself as the 2022 season has progressed and has become the best pass blocker in the nation.
Currently, we grade Florida’s D’Cyrus Torrence Torrence as the top guard - he's huge for an interior player at 347 lbs and has had a dominant 2022 season for the Gators in the running game where he regularly bulldozers defenders. At center expect Minnesota's John Michael Schmitz who has an amazing year in 2022 to be the first off the board.
