QUARTERBACK RANKINGS 2024 NFL DRAFT

As the tape rolls and playbooks unfold in the 2023 college football season, scouts and draft enthusiasts are beginning to whisper a bold sentiment: we may very well be witnessing the finest QB class in draft history. Though it's still early days, the talent emerging is undeniably elite. With a staggering seven quarterbacks carrying first-round grades, and the buzz around a potential five of them cracking the top 10 picks, the 2024 NFL Draft is shaping up to be monumental.

USC's Caleb Williams, hot on the heels of a Heisman-level campaign, is the name on many lips. His blend of arm strength and decision-making sets him apart. Yet, it's a tight race at the top. Drake Maye from North Carolina, with his exceptional field IQ and pinpoint accuracy, is nipping at Williams' heels, challenging the QB1 narrative.

The intrigue deepens with Shedeur Sanders. Since transferring to Colorado, he's been a revelation, displaying both refined mechanics and a knack for making pro-level reads. Meanwhile, down south in Texas, Quinn Ewers is dispelling any early-career skepticism with a display of increased pocket awareness and a tantalizing deep-ball prowess. Michael Penix Jr.'s cerebral game at Washington adds another layer of depth, though his injury history might raise some red flags.

With franchises hungry for the next generational talent under center, this quarterback class, arguably the best we've ever glimpsed, stands ready to deliver.
