2027 BEST RATED RUNNING BACKS BY RUSHING

The rushing grade scores what a back does with each carry beyond what the blocking gave him: vision, patience to the hole, burst through it and the yards that follow. It is graded per carry, so a workhorse and a change-of-pace back are on the same footing. Adrian Peterson (Oklahoma) and Derrick Henry (Alabama) posted the kind of grades that translate regardless of the line in front of them.

The table ranks this year’s draft-eligible running backs by rushing grade, alongside tackle-breaking, receiving, hands, blocking and overall rating.
