Chris McAlister was born June 14, 1977 in Pasadena, California, played cornerback at Arizona, and was taken by Baltimore with the 10th pick of the 1999 draft. He started 12 of 16 games as a rookie, and Madden NFL 2000 put him at a calculated 90 for that season. He started every game of the 2000 season, which ended in a 34-7 win over the Giants in Super Bowl XXXV on January 28, 2001.
On September 30, 2002, McAlister returned a missed Denver field goal 107 yards for a touchdown on Monday night, then the longest play in NFL history. Madden NFL 03 rated him 88 for that season. He was named first-team All-Pro in 2003 and reached the Pro Bowl in 2003, 2004 and 2006. Madden NFL 05 rated him 97 for 2004.
Madden NFL 08 rated him 98 for 2007, a year injuries cut to eight games. He played six games in 2008, and the Ravens terminated his contract on February 16, 2009. He signed with New Orleans later that year and appeared in two games. McAlister finished with 26 interceptions, more than any other cornerback in Ravens history.
