Keenan McCardell Madden Career 1995-2007 - Peak 90 OVR

Washington spent the 326th selection of the 1991 draft, deep in the 12th round, on a UNLV receiver, and Keenan McCardell built a 17-year career that ended with 883 catches, 11,373 yards, and 63 touchdowns. He found his footing in Jacksonville, where he and Jimmy Smith became "Thunder and Lightning" and gave the expansion Jaguars one of the best receiver tandems in football through the late 1990s. He made Pro Bowls seven years apart, in 1996 and 2003.

His signature day came in Super Bowl XXXVII, when he caught two touchdowns in Tampa Bay's 48-21 rout of the Raiders, one of two rings he collected after breaking in as a rookie on the Super Bowl XXVI Redskins.

The Madden grades arrived late and stayed high for a receiver in his mid-thirties. He was a 60 as a nobody in the 1996 edition, then lived in the 80s through the 2000s and hit his peak 89 in the 2004 edition, his first year in San Diego.
