Tony Boselli Madden Career 1996-2003 - Peak 99 OVR

Tony Boselli was born on April 17, 1972 in Modesto, California, played left tackle at USC, and was taken second overall in the 1995 draft as the first player the expansion Jacksonville Jaguars selected. He started 12 of the 13 games he played as a rookie, and Madden NFL 96 put him at a calculated 76 for that season.

He started all 16 games in 1996, the year Jacksonville reached the AFC Championship Game in its second season of existence. Madden NFL 98 put him at a calculated 80 for the 1997 season, the first of three straight first-team All-Pro selections, and Madden NFL 2000 put him at a calculated 99 for 1999. He made five Pro Bowls and was named to the NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team.

A left shoulder injury limited him to three games in 2001, and Madden NFL 02 rated him 97 for that season. Houston used the first pick of the 2002 expansion draft on him; he was placed on injured reserve in October 2002 and never played a game for the Texans, announcing his retirement in July 2003 after three operations on the shoulder. He entered the College Football Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022.
