Akin Ayodele was a pass-rushing linebacker at Purdue, a third-round pick in 2002 who became a durable, every-down inside linebacker, four years starting in Jacksonville before signing with Dallas in 2006 to anchor the 3-4.
Madden opened him at a 51 before he had played, then climbed him to an 88 by the 2006 edition and held him in the 80s during his Dallas run, consistency rather than splash, more than 100 career starts and nine and a half sacks. He finished with Miami and Buffalo, always in the lineup and always around the ball.
