Donnie Abraham came out of tiny East Tennessee State and turned into one of Tampa Bay's most reliable defenders. A third-round pick, 71st overall, in 1996, he spent six years with the Buccaneers before three more with the Jets, and he finished with 25 career interceptions.
His signature season was 1999, when his seven interceptions tied him with Rod Woodson, Troy Vincent, and others atop the league and sent him to his only Pro Bowl. That November he snatched a deflected Chris Chandler pass and returned it 47 yards for a touchdown against Atlanta with 41 seconds left, capping a comeback win. Madden caught him at his height: after that seven-pick year, the 2000 edition rated him a 90, his best mark in the series, and he held in the high 80s through the 2001 and 2004 games before easing back.
