At 6-foot-3 and roughly 210 pounds, Bobby Taylor was built to smother receivers rather than merely run with them. A consensus All-American at Notre Dame, he went to the Eagles in the second round of the 1995 draft and spent nine seasons in Philadelphia, forming with Troy Vincent the most feared cornerback duo the franchise had produced in a generation. Taylor used his length to reroute and bully wideouts while Vincent locked down the other side.
His finest season came in 2002, when he made the Pro Bowl and earned second-team All-Pro honors as the Eagles fielded one of the league's stingiest defenses. He recorded 19 interceptions across 129 games before finishing with a single 2004 season in Seattle. Madden charted his development from a raw 53 back in the 1996 edition to a peak 93 in the 2003 game, right after that All-Pro campaign, before settling into the high 80s as his career wound down.
