Saquon Barkley was born February 9, 1997 in the Bronx and raised in Coplay, Pennsylvania, where he attended Whitehall High School. He played at Penn State, and the New York Giants drafted him second overall in 2018. He rushed for 1,307 yards as a rookie, won Offensive Rookie of the Year and made the Pro Bowl. Madden NFL 19 rated him 82 for 2018, and Madden NFL 20 raised him to 91 for 2019.
A torn ACL in the second game of 2020 limited him to two appearances that season. He came back for 1,312 rushing yards and a second Pro Bowl in 2022, a year Madden NFL 23 rated him 86. He signed with Philadelphia in March 2024.
In 2024 he led the league with 345 carries and 2,005 rushing yards, was named first-team All-Pro and Offensive Player of the Year, and won Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, his 28th birthday. He signed a two-year, $41.2 million extension the following month. Madden NFL 26 rated him 99 for 2025. Through that season he had 8,356 rushing yards, 55 rushing touchdowns and 358 receptions.
