Todd Steussie: Cal tackle, two Pro Bowls, 213 NFL games

Todd Steussie was born on December 1, 1970 in Canoga Park, California, and played college football at California, where he won the Morris Trophy as the conference's best offensive lineman and was a first-team All-American in 1993. The Minnesota Vikings drafted him 19th overall in 1994. He started all 16 games at left tackle as a rookie and made the PFWA All-Rookie Team; Madden NFL 95 listed him at a calculated 86 for that season.

Steussie was named to the Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro after both the 1997 and 1998 seasons, working on a line that also included Randall McDaniel, Jeff Christy and Korey Stringer. Madden NFL 99 gave him a calculated 89 for 1998, and Madden NFL 2000 a calculated 96 for 1999. Across seven Minnesota seasons he started every game in which he appeared.

He signed with Carolina before the 2001 season, started all 48 games in three years there and reached Super Bowl XXXVIII after the 2003 season. Two seasons with Tampa Bay followed, and Madden NFL 05 rated him 87 for 2004. He joined the St. Louis Rams in 2006 and started 15 games between left tackle and left guard, then closed the 2007 season after foot surgery. He played 213 NFL games with 185 starts and was inducted into California's athletics hall of fame in 2013.
