The Bills returner who took a kickoff 103 yards on Monday night
A fourth-round pick out of Northwestern State in 2003, McGee made his name with the ball in his hands. He was a Pro Bowl kick returner after the 2004 season and ran five kickoffs back for touchdowns across a Buffalo career that spanned a decade. The signature came on Monday Night Football in October 2007, when he fielded a kick deep in his own end and took it 103 yards to the house against Dallas.
He was more than a returner, though. McGee settled in as a starting cornerback and finished with 17 interceptions, a dependable cover man on Bills teams that rarely gave him much help. His Madden numbers rose with his role, from a 78 in the 2005 edition to a career-high 93 in the 2008 edition, the reward for a stretch when he ranked among the most dangerous return men in the league and held his own at corner besides. He stayed a Bill through 2012.
