Michael Oher's life became a book and a Hollywood movie before his NFL career even started. He grew up homeless in Memphis, attended eleven schools, and turned into a consensus All-American left tackle at Ole Miss, winning the Jacobs Blocking Trophy in 2008. Baltimore took him 23rd overall in 2009.
On the field he was a durable, dependable lineman for most of a decade. He started as a rookie, protected Joe Flacco's blind side, and won Super Bowl XLVII when the Ravens beat San Francisco. He later played for Tennessee and reached Super Bowl 50 with Carolina, appearing in 110 games across eight seasons.
His Madden peak came early, an 89 in the 2010 edition after a standout rookie year, before settling into the low 80s and then the 70s as the miles added up. In 2023 he filed suit against the Tuohy family, alleging they had placed him under a conservatorship rather than adopting him and profited from The Blind Side; a judge ended the conservatorship that September.
