Alge Crumpler was a powerful, sure-handed tight end and a favorite of Michael Vick, a load in the run game and a dependable red-zone target for Atlanta. The North Carolina product did every part of the job well.

Madden had him at 64 as a rookie and a 96 by the 2006 edition, in the middle of four straight Pro Bowls. A productive stretch in Tennessee and a Super Bowl trip with New England followed.
