Trevor Pryce was born on August 3, 1975 in Brooklyn, New York, played college football at Clemson, and was taken 28th overall by the Denver Broncos in the 1997 draft. He appeared in eight games as a rookie and was a member of the Denver teams that won Super Bowl XXXII and Super Bowl XXXIII. Madden NFL 99 put him at a calculated 72 for the 1998 season, his first as a regular starter at right defensive tackle.
Pryce recorded 13 sacks in 1999 and was voted to the first of four consecutive Pro Bowls, a season Madden NFL 2000 listed at a calculated 86. He moved to left defensive end in 2002 and started all 16 games there in both 2002 and 2003, a year Madden NFL 04 rated him 94 for. A back injury held him to two games in 2004.
He signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2006 and led them with 13 sacks that season, which Madden NFL 07 rated at 92. Baltimore released him on September 29, 2010 and he finished the year with the New York Jets. Pryce retired in 2011 and later wrote the novel Kulipari: An Army of Frogs, which Netflix adapted as an animated series in 2016. He recorded 91 sacks across 14 seasons.
