Brad Hopkins was the last man standing from the Houston Oilers. Drafted 13th overall out of Illinois in 1993, he played all 13 of his NFL seasons with the same organization as it moved from Houston to Tennessee, appearing in 194 games and starting 188 of them at left tackle. His job was to keep Steve McNair upright and open running lanes for Eddie George, and he did both for well over a decade.
Hopkins started at left tackle in Super Bowl XXXIV after the 1999 season, the game the Titans lost to Kurt Warner's Rams by a yard on the final play. He made Pro Bowls in 2000 and 2003, anchoring a line that surrendered the third-fewest sacks in the league in that first Pro Bowl year. Quiet excellence like his rarely gets loud recognition, but the ratings noticed: a 72 in the 1996 edition, up to 89, and a career-high 93 in both the 2004 and 2005 games before he retired in 2006.
