Undrafted from Milton College to 38,147 passing yards

Dave Krieg was born on October 20, 1958, in Iola, Wisconsin, played at NAIA Milton College and signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 1980. He took over as the starter in 1983 and made the Pro Bowl after the 1984, 1988 and 1989 seasons. On December 18, 1988, he threw for 410 yards and four touchdowns in a 43-37 win over the Raiders that gave Seattle the AFC West at 9-7.

At Arrowhead Stadium on November 11, 1990, Krieg was sacked nine times, seven by Derrick Thomas, then threw a 25-yard touchdown to Paul Skansi as time expired for a 17-16 win. Madden NFL 92 put him at a calculated 66 for 1991, his last season in Seattle. He started all 16 games for Kansas City in 1992, and Madden NFL 93 put him at a calculated 56 for that year.

In 1994 he replaced an injured Scott Mitchell in Detroit and threw 14 touchdowns against three interceptions; Madden NFL 95 put him at a calculated 74 for the season. Madden NFL 97 listed him at 34 for 1996, the year he relieved Erik Kramer in Chicago at 38. Krieg retired in 2000 and entered the Seattle Seahawks Ring of Honor in 2004, with 38,147 passing yards, 261 touchdowns and 199 interceptions.
