Cris Dishman Madden Career 1992-2000 - Peak 92 OVR

Cris Dishman was born on August 13, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky, and played college football at Purdue, where he was a three-year starter and an All-Big Ten selection in 1987. The Houston Oilers drafted him in the fifth round of the 1988 draft, 125th overall. He became the starting left cornerback and in 1991 recorded six interceptions, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles, taking first-team All-Pro honors and his first Pro Bowl selection; Madden NFL 92 listed him at a calculated 73 for that season.

Madden NFL 94 raised him to a calculated 92 for 1993, the highest mark of his career. He started at left cornerback in Houston through 1996, the franchise's last season in the city, a year Madden NFL 97 rated at a stored 52.

Dishman signed with Washington in 1997, started 15 games and was named to a second Pro Bowl; Madden NFL 99 gave him a calculated 91 for the 1998 season. He played 1999 with the Kansas City Chiefs and 2000 with the Minnesota Vikings before retiring. He finished with 43 interceptions, three of them returned for touchdowns, over 13 seasons, and was inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.
