Jaguars' big leg and the 59-yard walk-off in Indy

Scobee had the leg for the moments that decided games. A fifth-round pick out of Louisiana Tech in 2004, he kicked eleven seasons for Jacksonville and specialized in the long walk-off. In 2010 he drilled a franchise-record 59-yarder to beat Indianapolis, and the next year he booted three field goals of 50 or more in a single game, tying an NFL record.

He was sometimes the whole offense. In a 2006 Monday night game the Jaguars beat Pittsburgh 9-0, and every point came off Scobee's foot.

His Madden grade rode the highs and lows of the position. He arrived as a 77 in the 2005 edition, slid all the way to a 69 in the 2009 game after a rough year, then rebuilt to matching peaks of 90 in both the 2012 and 2014 editions. A 2015 trade to Pittsburgh ended badly, with missed kicks costing him the job within weeks, but the strong-legged version is the one Jacksonville remembers.
