Carolina spent the 34th overall pick in the 1999 draft on the Georgia tackle, and he rewarded them immediately, earning a spot on the NFL All-Rookie team as a right tackle. Terry started 88 of the 100 games he played across nine seasons, holding down the right edge for the Panthers from 1999 through 2002 before moving on to Seattle and, later, Kansas City.
