Cletidus Hunt Madden Career 2000-2005 - Peak 90 OVR

Green Bay found Hunt in the third round of the 1999 draft, 94th overall, at tiny Kentucky State, and for a few years the bet paid off. He gave the Packers interior push most small-school linemen never provide, finishing with 17 sacks across 85 games, unusual production for a defensive tackle, and cashed in on a lucrative extension as an anchor of the Green Bay front.

The Madden ratings caught both the rise and the plateau. He sat at 76 in the 2000 edition, dropped into the mid-60s over the next two years, then vaulted to 87 in the 2003 game before holding at a career-high 90 in both the 2004 and 2005 editions. His play never quite matched the contract, and he was out of Green Bay after 2004, later surfacing in the Arena League. Inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020, he remains a reminder of how much disruptive interior push mattered to those Packers defenses.
