Chavous built a reputation as one of the game's most obsessive film students, a safety who often knew the route concept before the ball was snapped. He played eleven years across the Cardinals, Vikings, and Rams, and later turned that same tape-room diligence into a second career as a draft analyst, founding DraftNasty magazine.
