Kyle Hamilton was born on March 16, 2001 in Heraklion, Greece, spent three seasons at Notre Dame, and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens with the 14th overall pick in 2022. He played 16 games as a rookie with four starts and two sacks. Madden NFL 23 listed him at 76 for the 2022 season.

He started 15 games in 2023 and finished with four interceptions and three sacks. All three sacks came in the first half against Indianapolis on September 24, tying the NFL single-game record for a defensive back. On December 25 he intercepted Brock Purdy twice in a 33-19 win over San Francisco. He was voted first-team All-Pro and made his first Pro Bowl, and Madden NFL 24 put him at 82 for that season.

Hamilton started all 17 games in 2024 and recorded a career-high 107 combined tackles, earning second-team All-Pro honors; Madden NFL 25 listed him at 89 for that season. He signed a four-year, $100.4 million extension in August 2025, the largest deal given to a safety, and Madden NFL 26 listed him at 90 for the 2025 season, when he was again voted first-team All-Pro. Through the 2025 season he had 355 combined tackles, eight sacks and five interceptions in 64 games.
