Harrison Smith could cover deep, blitz off the edge, drop into the box, and disguise all of it, the piece that let Minnesota shift into almost any look. The Notre Dame product was one of the most complete and cerebral safeties of his time.

Madden had him at 75 as a rookie and a 97 by the 2018 edition, then held him in the 90s for years. Multiple Pro Bowls and All-Pro nods later, he was the durable brain of the defense into his mid-thirties.
