Trevon Diggs was a receiver first, at Alabama and in his own family, the younger brother of Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs, before he converted to cornerback and let his ball skills do the talking. Dallas took him in the second round in 2020, and by his second season he had done something almost nobody does anymore, led the entire NFL with 11 interceptions, the most in a single season since 1981.

The Madden card lurched to catch him. He opened at a rookie 69, then spiked to an 84 and a peak of 89 after the 11-pick season, the game rewarding the takeaways even as it wrestled with the rest.
