The cerebral, ball-hawking quarterback of a secondary

Eric Weddle read quarterbacks a beat before everyone else and quarterbacked the secondary, one of the smartest and most productive safeties of his era for the Chargers and Ravens. The Utah product took the ball away in bunches.

Madden gave him 96s in the 2013 and 2015 editions, his peak. Six Pro Bowls later, he came out of retirement to win Super Bowl LVI with the Rams, a storybook finish.
