Doug Free was a fourth-round pick out of Northern Illinois in 2007 who became a decade-long fixture on the Dallas line, taking over at left tackle after Flozell Adams was released, then sliding to the right side in 2012.

Madden opened him at a 74 and climbed him to an 87 by the 2017 edition, his final season, anchoring what was regarded as one of the league's best lines in 2014. More than 110 career starts, all ten years in Dallas, a homegrown lineman who gave the franchise a decade of steady protection without drama.
