Ben Grubbs: Auburn guard, two Pro Bowls for Ravens and Saints
Ben Grubbs was born March 10, 1984, in Columbus, Georgia, and grew up in Eclectic, Alabama. At Auburn he started all 13 games of the team's undefeated 2004 season. The Baltimore Ravens drafted him 29th overall in 2007, and he started 12 of 16 games at right guard as a rookie. Madden NFL 08 rated him 80 for 2007.
He moved to left guard in 2008 and started all 16 games there in each of the next three seasons. Madden NFL 11 rated him 94 for 2010. Injury limited him to 10 starts in 2011, the season that brought his first Pro Bowl selection, and Madden NFL 12 rated him 95 for that year.
Grubbs signed with the New Orleans Saints on March 15, 2012, and started all 48 games over three seasons blocking for Drew Brees. He was selected to a second Pro Bowl for 2013, a season Madden NFL 25 rated him 95. Kansas City acquired him by trade in March 2015, and a neck injury in October ended his year after seven starts. The Chiefs released him with a failed physical, and he retired in 2016 with 125 starts in 129 career games.
