Seneca Wallace Madden Career 2005-2012 - Peak 82 OVR

Seneca Wallace was born on August 6, 1980, in Sacramento, California. He played at Sacramento City College before transferring to Iowa State for 2001 and 2002. The Seattle Seahawks drafted him in the fourth round, 110th overall, in 2003, and Madden NFL 05 listed him at 62 for the 2004 season. He made his first regular-season appearances in 2005.

An injury to Matt Hasselbeck gave Wallace four starts in 2006, a season he finished with eight touchdown passes and seven interceptions. Madden NFL 07 raised him to 76 for that year, and Madden NFL 08 put him at 82 for 2007, when Mike Holmgren also used him at wide receiver. In Week 9 of 2008, on November 2 at Philadelphia, he threw a 90-yard touchdown pass to Koren Robinson on Seattle's first play from scrimmage, the longest in franchise history. Madden NFL 10 dropped him to 69 for 2009.

Seattle traded him to Cleveland in March 2010, and he started seven games there over two seasons. He signed with Green Bay in September 2013 and on November 10, 2013 became the first African-American to start at quarterback for the Packers, leaving that game with a groin injury on the opening drive. He finished with 4,947 passing yards, 31 touchdowns and 19 interceptions in 64 games. In February 2025 he was hired as quarterbacks coach of the UFL's St. Louis Battlehawks.
