Brandon Moore entered the NFL undrafted in 2002, a converted defensive tackle from Illinois who had to learn guard from the wrong side of the ball. He learned it well enough to start 142 of the 144 games he appeared in over a decade with the Jets, becoming a cornerstone of the physical Rex Ryan lines that ground opponents down and reached back-to-back AFC Championship games. His long-overdue Pro Bowl finally arrived after the 2011 season.

The ratings honor that slow ascent. He opened at a 72 in the 2004 edition, settled into the high 80s for years, and hit his peak of 90 in the 2011 edition as one of the better guards in the sport. Cruel timing handed him one of football's most-replayed lowlights: on Thanksgiving 2012, Mark Sanchez ran into Moore's backside and fumbled, the play forever known as the 'Butt Fumble.' Moore had nothing to do with the blunder but wore it anyway. He signed with Dallas in 2013 and then retired rather than move his family, walking away on his own terms after ten seasons.
