Ronnie Harmon: 10,265 all-purpose yards, 1992 Pro Bowl

Ronnie Harmon was born on May 7, 1964, in Queens, New York, and played college football at Iowa, where he finished with 4,028 yards from scrimmage and 126 receptions. The Buffalo Bills took him in the first round of the 1986 NFL draft, 16th overall. He spent four seasons in Buffalo. In the AFC divisional playoff at Cleveland on January 6, 1990, he dropped a potential game-winning pass from Jim Kelly with nine seconds left, and the Bills did not re-sign him.

Harmon signed with the San Diego Chargers in March 1990 and stayed six seasons. He rushed for 544 yards and caught 59 passes in 1991 and was named the team's most valuable player, a season Madden NFL 92 carried at a calculated 66 overall. He caught a career-high 79 passes for 914 yards in 1992 and was selected to the Pro Bowl, and Madden NFL 93 listed a calculated 73. Madden NFL 95 put him at a calculated 82 for 1994. In Super Bowl XXIX he led the Chargers with eight catches for 68 yards in a 49-26 loss.

He played 1996 with the Houston Oilers, a season Madden NFL 97 recorded at 32 overall, then split 1997 between Chicago and the Tennessee Oilers. Harmon finished with 2,774 rushing yards, 582 receptions for 6,076 yards and 10,265 all-purpose yards. His 51 postseason receptions without a touchdown are the most in NFL history.
