Warren Moon was born November 18, 1956, in Los Angeles, California. He played at West Los Angeles College and Washington, and was named MVP of the January 1978 Rose Bowl. He went undrafted, signed with the Edmonton Eskimos, and won five consecutive Grey Cups from 1978 through 1982 before joining the Houston Oilers in 1984.
He led the NFL with 4,689 passing yards and 33 touchdowns in 1990, threw for 527 yards in a 27-10 win at Kansas City on December 16 of that year, and was named AP Offensive Player of the Year. He led the league in yards again in 1991 with 4,690, a season Madden NFL 92 scored at a calculated 99. He completed 36 of 50 passes for 371 yards and four touchdowns in the 41-38 overtime playoff loss at Buffalo on January 3, 1993.
Houston traded him to Minnesota in April 1994, a season Madden NFL 95 put at a calculated 96, and an eight-game 1996 left him at a stored 67 in Madden NFL 97. He signed with Seattle in 1997 and was named Pro Bowl MVP, and Madden NFL 99 scored the 1998 season at a calculated 92. He retired on January 25, 2001, after two seasons in Kansas City, with 49,325 NFL passing yards, 291 touchdowns and nine Pro Bowl selections, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
