Darius Jackson had a big senior year at Eastern Michigan, better than a thousand rushing yards and a school-record sixteen total touchdowns, and Dallas took him in the sixth round in 2016. What followed was the classic fringe-back existence, a player bouncing across a half-dozen practice squads and rosters chasing a role that never opened.

The Madden card is thin, a 59 rising to a 62 across a couple of releases, the grade of a depth running back whose entire NFL game action came in 2018, split between Dallas and Green Bay. Six carries and some kick-return yards is the whole line, a fair read on a back who could not crack a rotation anywhere, the number reflecting that almost nonexistent production.
