Le'Veon Bell was born on February 18, 1992 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and played at Michigan State. Pittsburgh drafted him 48th overall in 2013. He rushed for 860 yards as a rookie, and Madden NFL 25 rated him 73 for that season. In 2014 he ran for 1,361 yards and added 854 receiving yards for 2,215 from scrimmage, made the Pro Bowl and was named first-team All-Pro.
A knee injury ended his 2015 season after six games. He came back to rush for 1,268 yards in 12 games in 2016 and returned to the Pro Bowl. Madden NFL 17 rated him 94. In 2017 he ran for 1,291 yards, caught 85 passes and was a first-team All-Pro for the second time. Madden NFL 18 rated him 97.
Pittsburgh placed the franchise tag on him in 2018. He never reported and sat out the whole season, forfeiting more than $14 million. The New York Jets signed him to a four-year contract in March 2019, and Madden NFL 20 rated him 92. The Jets released him in October 2020 and he finished that year with Kansas City. He played five games for Baltimore and three for Tampa Bay in 2021, ending with 6,554 rushing yards, 42 rushing touchdowns and 399 receptions for 3,289 yards. Bell said in 2022 that he was leaving football for professional boxing.
