James Bradberry Madden Career 2017-2020 - Peak 81 OVR

James Bradberry came out of tiny Samford, and the Panthers still spent a second-round pick, 62nd overall, on him in 2016. He graded as the top rookie corner that year and grew into exactly what teams covet on the boundary: long arms, patient hips and the nerve to travel with a top receiver.

The Giants paid him in 2020, and he rewarded them with a Pro Bowl season, then a career-high four interceptions across 17 starts in 2021. Philadelphia signed him in 2022, and his Super Bowl LVII moment became one of the most debated flags in the game's history. Late against Kansas City he was called for holding, and instead of hiding he owned it, saying plainly it was a hold and that he tugged the jersey. There was redemption too: still an Eagle, though sidelined by an Achilles injury, he collected a ring when Philadelphia beat the Chiefs 40-22 two years later.

His Madden path shows the slow build. He sat at 70 as a rookie in the 2016 edition, settled in the high 70s through his Carolina prime, then spiked to a career-best 90 in the 2021 edition after the Pro Bowl year in New York.
