A rotational rusher behind two starters
Victor Butler spent four seasons as Dallas's situational pass rusher, brought in on obvious passing downs behind DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer, a role that caps snaps but has real value. He piled up eleven sacks in that part-time work.
Madden climbed him from a 55 to an 81 by the 2014 edition. Then a torn ACL in 2013 wiped out a New Orleans season that was supposed to expand his role, and only a brief Indianapolis stint followed. A specialist who did his one job well, capped by the players ahead of him and then by injury.
