A Division II find who started far more than his slot promised
Mackenzy Bernadeau was a multiple-time All-American at Bentley, a Division II school, the first player from his conference ever drafted, a seventh-rounder in 2008. From that long-shot start he became a starting guard for Carolina and then Dallas.
Madden opened him at a 66 and climbed him to a 78 by the 2016 edition, a solid interior starter who started all sixteen games his first Dallas season, even filling in at center. Four years in Dallas and a finish in Jacksonville, more than a hundred games and roughly fifty starts behind him, an overlooked prospect turned steady contributor.
