An undrafted reserve who drummed in a metal band
Cory Procter was a I-AA All-American at Montana, undrafted in 2005, who spent five years as a Dallas backup and spot-starter, the dependable reserve every line needs, once starting eleven games at left guard without the offense cratering.
Madden had him at a 66, peaking at a 72 by the 2011 edition after he left for Miami. A ruptured patellar tendon ended his career, but his second act was more colorful, drumming in the heavy-metal band Free Reign alongside linemen Marc Colombo and Leonard Davis, useful and anonymous on the field and a lot more interesting off it.
