A sixth-round pick, 179th overall, out of Arkansas State in 2004, Williams turned interior quickness into a payday. On November 5, 2006 he became the first Green Bay defensive tackle to record a three-sack game, part of a seven-sack season that established him as a genuine inside rusher. That production earned him the franchise tag in early 2008, and ten days later the Packers dealt him to Cleveland for a second-round pick.
