Ryan Diem Madden Career 2002-2012 - Peak 93 OVR

A mechanical engineering major out of Northern Illinois, Diem came to Indianapolis in the fourth round of the 2001 draft and spent eleven seasons as a fixture on the Colts line, starting 150 of the 157 games he played. He broke in at right guard, slid out to right tackle, and became a steady presence protecting Peyton Manning through the franchise's best years.

That run peaked in the 2006 season, when Indianapolis beat the Bears in the Miami rain to win Super Bowl XLI. Three seasons later he was back on the biggest stage, starting in the Super Bowl XLIV loss to New Orleans. His Madden rating followed the team's trajectory, opening at a raw 54 as a rookie in 2001, climbing into the high 80s by the mid-decade Colts juggernauts, and topping out at 93 in the 2008 edition before easing into the mid-80s as his career wound down toward his 2012 retirement.
