Adam Walker Madden Career 1996-1997 - Peak 63 OVR
Two faint cards for a genuinely obscure pro
Adam Walker was a running back and fullback out of Pittsburgh who spent the early-to-mid 1990s as a special-teams body and backup, most of it in San Francisco. The details of his career are murky even in the record books, with sources disagreeing on exactly which years he spent where, which tells you how far down the roster he sat.
Madden's two cards of him are as slight as the career. The game gave him a 63 for the 1995 season and a 27 the next year after he turned up in Philadelphia, the numbers of a deep reserve the game had almost nothing to go on. Neither is really a scouting report so much as a placeholder.
Walker carried the ball a handful of times, caught a few passes, and covered kicks across roughly 45 games, the definition of a role player. He was on the field for a great 49ers team in the mid-90s and may well have a ring to show for it, though even that is hard to pin down. Madden's low grades are the faint footprint of a genuinely obscure pro.
