Malik Davis was a depth back out of Florida who went undrafted in 2022 and caught on with Dallas, just the player who lives on the practice-squad-to-active-roster shuttle, a body in the backfield for when injuries thin it out. His NFL record is genuinely thin, a few hundred yards across scattered games.
