Cedrick Wilson Jr., the son of a former NFL receiver, was a smooth route runner and trick-play specialist for three years in Dallas, throwing the occasional gadget touchdown while waiting for real snaps.
Madden opened him at a 70 and climbed him to a 75 by the 2023 edition after a 2021 season of 45 catches and six touchdowns, career highs that arrived in a contract year. He parlayed it into a Miami deal, and the number eased back after, bouncing on to New Orleans and Detroit, one good year exactly when it counted.
