Tyreek Hill was born March 1, 1994 in Pearson, Georgia, and ran track at Coffee High School in Douglas. He played at Garden City Community College and Oklahoma State, was dismissed from Oklahoma State in December 2014 after a domestic assault arrest, pleaded guilty in August 2015 and finished his college career at West Alabama. Kansas City drafted him in the fifth round, 165th overall, in 2016.

As a rookie he returned two punts and a kickoff for touchdowns and was named first-team All-Pro as a return specialist. Madden NFL 17 rated him 65 for 2016. He moved into a full-time receiving role the next season, and Madden NFL 18 rated him 83 for 2017. He won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs in February 2020.

Kansas City traded him to Miami in March 2022 for five draft picks. He led the league with 1,799 receiving yards in 2023, and Madden NFL 25 rated him 99 for 2024. A dislocated knee and torn ligaments on September 29, 2025 ended his season after four games. Madden NFL 26 rated him 95 for that year, and Miami released him in February 2026. Through the 2025 season he had 11,363 receiving yards, eight Pro Bowl selections and five first-team All-Pro honors.
