The rookie returner who made first-team All-Pro in Seattle
Tyler Lockett returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown in his first NFL game and never gave the job back. Seattle traded up to grab the Kansas State star 69th overall in 2015, and he responded by becoming the only rookie that season named first-team All-Pro, a returner who also housed a 105-yard kickoff against Chicago. His father Kevin had starred at the same school and played in the NFL, and Tyler broke his records on the way out.
The hands matched the wheels. Lockett strung together four straight 1,000-yard seasons from 2019 to 2022 and once caught 15 balls for 200 yards and three scores against Arizona in 2020. He leaves Seattle second only to Steve Largent in franchise receiving yards, with 8,594 yards, 661 catches, and 61 touchdowns before short 2025 stops in Tennessee and Las Vegas.
Madden tracked the arc from a 72 as a rookie to a 90 in the 2022 edition, honoring his most productive stretch, before dropping to 79 as he changed teams.
