Allen Robinson Madden Career 2015-2020 - Peak 88 OVR

In 2015 Allen Robinson caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns, tying for the NFL lead in receiving scores, and he did it for a Jaguars team that finished 5-11 with Blake Bortles throwing him the ball. That season made his reputation: a big, strong receiver who won contested throws and back-shoulder fades most corners could not contest. Jacksonville had taken him in the second round, 61st overall in 2014, out of Penn State, where he was a first-team All-American.

A torn ACL in Week 1 of 2017 wiped out a season and blunted the peak, but he rebuilt himself in Chicago, then bounced through the Rams, Steelers, Giants, and Lions as the production tapered. The Madden numbers tell the whole shape: an 88 in the 2016 edition off that Jacksonville explosion, a 90 in the 2021 edition, then the slide to 77 by 2024 as the target share dried up. The best of him, though, was that one year in Duval, a receiver carrying an offense on strength and timing alone.
