Allen Hurns Madden Career 2016-2021 - Peak 85 OVR

Allen Hurns went undrafted out of Miami in 2014 and announced himself immediately, scoring on each of his first two NFL catches for Jacksonville. He broke out the next year, a 1,031-yard, ten-touchdown season that looked like the start of something bigger, an undrafted receiver turning into a genuine number-one.

The Madden card peaked right there. He climbed from a 73 to an 85 in Madden NFL 18 on the strength of that Jacksonville breakout, but the production had already begun to slip, and the grade started down as the injuries and diminished role took over. He signed with Dallas in 2018, a reclamation hope, and his tenure there ended in one of the most gruesome scenes of the season, a dislocated and fractured ankle in a playoff game against Seattle.

He came back for a bit in Miami before his career wound down, 3,380 yards behind him. Hurns is a story of a spectacular undrafted rise and a hard fade, a receiver whose one huge year was never quite matched.
