Terrance Williams Madden Career 2014-2019 - Peak 82 OVR

Terrance Williams led the entire nation in receiving yards as a senior at Baylor, a unanimous All-American deep threat Dallas took in the third round in 2013 to stretch the field opposite Dez Bryant. He fit the role well early, a vertical complement who could take the top off a defense while Bryant worked the middle, and the production came in steady chunks.

The Madden card tracked that solid early run. He opened at a 67, climbed to an 82 peak in Madden NFL 16 around his best statistical season, a career-high 840 yards in 2015, then eased back into the high 70s as the years went on. The grade never spiked into stardom because the role never asked him to be the star, a good second or third option whose value was the threat of the deep ball more than a big catch total.

The decline was part production and part trouble, an off-field incident in 2018 and a general fade that ended his Cowboys tenure in 2019, after which he bounced through the XFL and other leagues.
