Tyler Clutts was a Fresno State defensive end who converted to fullback, went undrafted, and took the long road through the CFL, arena and UFL before reaching the NFL. He was a pure lead blocker, employable because he did that one thing well.

Madden opened him at a 54 and climbed him to a 74 by the 2016 edition, a solid blocking fullback, the number modest the way the game treats the position. He bounced through Cleveland, Chicago, Houston and Dallas, blocking for DeMarco Murray and Darren McFadden around 2014 and 2015, a relic of a vanishing position who lasted on toughness.
